WD-40 Specialist Corrosion Inhibitor is an anti-rust spray used to protect metal parts from corrosion for up to 1 year outdoors or 2 years indoors.1 It contains metal-seeking Vapor Corrosion Inhibitors that seal & protect metals from the air and moisture that can cause rust. These Vapor Corrosion Inhibitors continue to work even if some of the sprayed surface is rubbed off and can reseal the vulnerable surface to continue providing protection.
Corrosion Inhibitor is ideal for use on tools, locks, propane tanks, hinges, chains, cables, metal doors, car parts and any untreated metal or iron exposed to the elements or damp storage conditions. It is safe on most metals and plastics when used as directed. Avoid prolonged contact with rubber.
